‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ tribute to Robert Rodriguez

“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” cast members and producers give show creator Robert Rodriguez a lot of love in the latest video promoting the show’s second season.

The 10-episode season debuts at 8 p.m. Aug. 25 on El Rey Network.

Zane Holtz (who plays Richie Gecko), Brandon Soo Hoo (Scott Fuller), Jesse Garcia (Ranger Freddy Gonzalez), exec producer and show runner Carlos Coto and exec producer Diego Gutierrez all praise Rodriguez’s work and work ethic—and not just because he’s their boss.

Rodriguez, who also founded El Rey Network, directed the premiere of the new season, which will open a new chapter in the vampire crime drama after the first season followed the story in Rodriguez’s 1996 film,“From Dusk Till Dawn.”

Along with the actors mentioned above, other returning cast members include Wilmer Valderrama as Carlos Madrigal, Eiza González as Santánico Pandemonium, D.J. Cotrona as Seth Gecko, and Madison Davenport as Kate Fuller.

Danny Trejo joins the cast as The Regulator along with Esai Morales, who plays Lord Amancio Malvado. Other new cast members include Jeff Fahey as Uncle Eddie Cruickshank and Briana Evigan as Sonja Lam

Jake Busey returns as a guest star and is joined by Demi Lovato.
