Outlander preview: Witch trial

Claire and Geillis are put on trial for practicing witchcraft in the upcoming episode of the Starz’ series Outlander.

Their arrest strains the friendship between Claire (Caitrione Balfe) and Geillis’ (Lotte Verbeek), with the two women hurling accusations at each other.

Will Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Dougal (Graham McTavish) be able to help them? In “The Affair” clip, Claire explains to Geillis that no one is coming to save them. Dougal told his brother, clan leader Colum MacKenzie (Gary Lewis), about Dougal’s affair with Geillis. Column sent Dougal away.
