The Amazon original series Red Oaks returns to Amazon Prime for another season in November, along with a binge-worthy bunch of Rocky and James Bond movies.
Craig Roberts, Paul Reiser, Richard Kind and Jennifer Grey star in “Red Oaks,” the comedy that follows the clueless members and misfit staffers of Red Oaks Country Club circa 1986. Assistant tennis pro David Meyers finds himself caught in the middle between his strong-willed girlfriend and her equally stubborn father. Meanwhile, Roguish head pro Nash decides to try his hand at gold-digging and valet-turned-bartender Wheeler continues his quest to win the heart of lifelong crush Misty. David’s new divorce parents, Sam and Judy, explore the New Jersey singles scene.
Prime members will be able to stream other series, including AMC’s highly acclaimed “The Night Manager” starring Tom Hiddleston, Season 2 of E!’s “The Royals” and the Starz miniseries “Flesh and Bone.”
All the “Rocky” movies will be available to celebrate the upcoming 40th anniversary of the franchise, including “Creed.” More than a dozen classic James Bond films also will stream.
Amazon Video also welcomes a number of new titles available for purchase in November, including “Suicide Squad” and “Star Trek Beyond.” New episodes of TV series air the day after broadcast, such as Season 3 of “Salem.”
Lastly, Prime members who sign up for a Showtime subscription on Amazon Channels get to see late night host Stephen Colbert’s Showtime special at the same time Showtime viewers watch it. “Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going To Clean Up This Sh*t?” will air at 11/10c Nov. 8, and can be streamed on web browsers, Fire TV, Fire Tablet, and Android devices.
